Who are we?

The Beesers platform is operated by HOME AWAY PLATFORM S.R.L., a limited liability company registered following Romanian law, whose main office is in Suceava, Str. Station no. 4, Block D4, Floor 2, Apartment no 10, Suceava County, registered at the Trade Register under no. J33 / 603/2019, fiscal registration code 40706596 (hereinafter referred to as "Home Away").

For us, the confidentiality of represents an essential aspect of Home Away's work and, as such, we want the personal information of users and providers of the Beesers platform to be secure, which is why any information received complies with the rules of privacy and cookie policy (you access it at the following link) but also the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").


"Personal data" is any data regarding a person. The data subjects are identifiable if they can be directly or indirectly identified, especially by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one of several special characteristics, which expresses the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, commercial, cultural or social identity of these natural persons.
"Processing" is any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or personal data sets, with or without the use of automated means, such as the collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise made available, alignment or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction;
"Client" is an individual who is at least 18 years of age and who purchases one or more Services via the Beesers platform;
"Provider" is the authorized or legal person providing the Services listed on the Beesers platform, including any legal or rightful representative or employee thereof
"Services" are the home care services performed by Provider;

What type of data are we processing and what for?

Home Away may process the following categories of personal data of Clients:
a) Data required for the registration as a Client: name, surname, contact number, email address, username, password;

b) Data required for providing services: home address, delivery address, telephone, geolocation data (provided by the IT equipment on which Beesers is installed/running, if the geolocation function is activated on the exact computer equipment), medical data;

c) Financial data necessary for processing the payment for the Services and invoicing: bank details (such as the bank account, CVC code, bank card number), name and surname;

d) Data required to improve performance of the Beesers platform, such as Beesers behavior/preferences/habits, previous orders made through Beesers; and

e) Any other data that the Client is sharing directly on Beesers and/or through the Provider while receiving the Services;

Home Away may process the following categories of personal data of the Providers:
a) Data necessary for creating the accounts of authorized persons: name, surname, telephone number, email address, username, password for accessing the account;

b) Data necessary for creating and operating the administrator account: name, surname, telephone number, email address, username, a password for accessing the account;

c) Data required for carrying out the Provider's activity: activity reports of the Provider's employees, cashing up and payment reports,

d) any other data that the Provider (by using the accounts of the employees or the administrator account) provides directly through the Beesers platform.

Some of the Client's data are special personal data necessary to be processed for the following purposes:
a) Medical data: these are necessary to facilitate the provision of the Services by the Provider to the Client.

The Beesers platform uses cookies to distinguish you from other users, to provide you with a better experience when using the platform, and to improve the performance of the platform.

A cookie is a small data file that can be placed on the computer from which you access Beesers. The cookies we use have the general purpose of recognizing a user ( to provide you with individualized content tailored to your interests and preferences) or tracking the traffic patterns of Clients. The information obtained through cookies is not correlated or used in any case to identify a person. We do not distribute in any way the data obtained in this way.

The purpose of processing personal data

The processing of personal data for the purposes indicated in point 3 above is based on (i) the legal obligations incumbent on Home Away as a result of the intermediation activity carried out through the Beesers platform; (ii) the conclusion or execution of the contract (by accepting the Terms and Conditions, on the Client side, or by signing the listing contract on the platform,on the Provider side) regarding the management of appointments created on the Beesers platform; (iii) Home Away's legitimate interest in promoting its intermediation through the Beesers platform or in defending its rights and interests in the event of possible lawsuits; (iv) the consent of Clients, for that processing for which the GDPR or the national legislation stipulates the obligation to obtain the consent of the individual.

If one of the processing carried out by Home Away is based on your consent, we inform you that you have the right at any time to withdraw your consent, in which case it is sufficient to send us a request to the contact details indicated below in 10.2. In this situation, if the processing is not based on another legal basis, we will stop processing it, which will not affect the legality of the processing before the withdrawal of consent.

Collecting personal data

The categories of data processed by Home Away according to points 3.1 and 3.2 are collected directly from the Client and the Provider. For any other personal data belonging to other individuals and provided by the Client / Provider to Home Away, it is the sole responsibility of the Client and the Provider to communicate to those individuals the aspects, terms and conditions of this privacy and data processing policy.

Recipients of personal data

For the purposes mentioned above, Home Away uses the services of several contractual partners, such as companies that provide hosting and maintenance services for our applications, software, and databases, and they may be provided with your data, to be used within the limits of the obligations they assume towards Home Away.

The personal data we disclose to the contractual partners is limited to the minimum personal information that is necessary for the provision of those services and we ask them not to use the personal data for any other purpose. We make every effort to ensure that all entities we work with store your data in a safely and securely.
Some of these are third parties who do not have the role to process the data but have access to it in the performance of their tasks, or their interactions with Home Away, such as maintenance companies, financial or legal auditors, or payment processing companies.

The categories of personal data indicated above may be made available or transmitted to third parties and in the following situations: (i) public authorities, auditors or institutions authorised to carry out inspections and check-ups on the activity and assets of Home Away, which request information by its legal obligations. These public authorities or institutions may be: the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing or other authorities with competence to verify the activity of Home Away and the Beesers platform; (ii) to comply with a legal requirement or to protect the rights and assets of Home Away or other entities or persons, such as courts.

Transferring data abroad

In the context of carrying out the operations described above, your data may be transferred abroad to countries of the European Union ("EU") or the European Economic Area ("EEA").

We hereby inform you that any transfer made by Home Away to an EU or EEA Member State will comply with the legal requirements set out in the GDPR.

Duration of processing

Home Away will only store personal data for the time necessary to achieve the processing purposes indicated above, while following the legal requirements.
Therefore, we will store your data until the date of withdrawal of consent for processing based solely on your consent, respectively during the contractual relationship plus 4 (four) years from now (to protect our rights and interests in the event of requests summons).

What happens to your data after the end of processing
Once the processing period indicated above expires and Home Away has no legal or legitimate reasons to process your data, the data will be deleted following internal procedures, which may involve their archiving, anonymization,or destruction.

Making decisions automatically and creating profiles automatically
The personal data referred to herein are not subject to automated decision-making processes, including profiling.

Security of personal data processing

Home Away constantly evaluates and updates the security measures implemented for the proper functioning of the Beesers platform to ensure safe and secure processing of personal data.

The individual's rights regarding the processing of personal data

In the context of processing your personal data, you have the following rights:
a) Right to access the processed data: you have the right to obtain confirmation that your personal data are or are not processed and, if so, to have access to the type of personal data and the conditions under which they are processed, by sending a request to the controller data;

b) Right to require the deletion of personal data: you may request to the data controller, the rectification of inaccurate data, the completion of incomplete data,or the deletion of your data if (i) the data not above required in the original purpose (and there is no new legal purpose), (ii) the legal basis for the processing is the consent of the data subject, the data subject withdraws his consent and there is no other legal basis, (iii) the data subject exercises his right to object, and the operator has no legitimate reasons to continue processing, (iv) the data has been processed unlawfully, (v) the deletion is necessary to comply with EU or Romanian law, or (vi) the data has been collected regarding the company's services information provided to children (if applicable) when specific consent requirements apply;

c) Right to request the restriction of processing: you have the right to obtain a restriction on the processing under the following requirements: (i) you consider that the personal data processed is inaccurate, for a period that allows the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data; (ii) the processing is illegal, but you do not want us to delete your data, but to restrict the use of that data; (iii) if the data controller no longer needs your data for the purposes mentioned above, but you need the data to establish, exercise or defend a right in court; or (iv) you objected to the processing, for the period during which we checked whether the legitimate grounds of the data controller prevailed over the rights of the data subject;

d) Right to withdraw your consent to the processing: when the processing is based on consent, without affecting the legality of the processing carried out up to that point;

e) Right to be against the processing of personal data for reasons related to your particular situation, where the processing is based on a legitimate interest, and to oppose, at any time, the processing of data for direct marketing purposes, including the creation of profiles;

f) Right to be the subject of a decision based exclusively on an automated processing, including the creation of profiles, which produce legal effects concerning the data subject or affect him in a similar way in a significant manner;

g) Right to data portability meaning the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to the data controller in a structured, commonly used and automatically readable form, as well as the right to transfer such data to another controller, if the processing is based on your consent or the performance of a contract and is carried out by automatic means;

h) Right to file a complaint before the Data Protection Authority and the right to address you to the competent courts.
